Right after graduation, I found myself eager to explore the world, but I chose stability when an incredible job opportunity popped up. That chance set me on a rewarding corporate journey—until the company closed its doors in 2011. That experience truly became a pivotal moment in my life.
I transitioned into real estate project management and subsequently held several management roles across various industries. I was learning, growing, and being challenged—but something felt off. After one particularly draining mandate marked by constant change and poor leadership, I hit a wall. I realized that the corporate 9-to-5 was no longer aligned with who I was becoming.
It was time for a fresh start.
My wife—an MBA graduate with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep love for travel—had been dreaming of something different. So, we sat down, reflected, and made a bold decision: to reinvent our lives. We resolved to stop postponing the life we wanted and to live it. The first year wasn’t easy. We faced emotional highs and lows, logistical nightmares, and unexpected financial hurdles. We quickly discovered a hard truth: the world is still built for conventional living.
